It is in this regional city of Western Australia that Atlas have built their latest site, Atlas Fuel Geraldton. Boasting a large retail offer and great value for money. Atlas Geraldton held their Grand Opening in September 2024 experiencing impressive growth ever since.
What has been the focus for your store?
At Atlas, our focus for our store is to be different and set ourselves apart from the others with not only the branding, but the staff and store presentation. We also want people to feel good and enjoy visiting our stores, where we not only give them value for their money in the fuel, but also in the shop with great quality but affordable products.

It is paramount that our customers are satisfied with the products and with fast and convenient service. Staff training is an integral part of customer service. They are trained by the professionals taking into consideration our Atlas Fuel Brand reputation. Since the opening of our very first branded site, we have had great feedback from our customers regarding the service and products we offer.

New Sunrise has supported us in providing a wide range of products in all different categories. The vast range of products offered from New Sunrise has supported Atlas Fuel Geraldton in profitability and an increased number of loyal customers. It is integral to have the new product range available for customers as it really adds value for a customer. Atlas Fuel Geraldton has become a one stop shop for fuel, food and beverages for customers.

Special deals from New Sunrise have increased the profitability and product standards throughout the store. Due to the special deals offered from New Sunrise, store shelves are always full and customers get what they want at any time of the day in trading hours. The opportunity lies in better deals and happy customers, I think we have managed to achieve both.
Atlas Fuel has experienced rapid expansion over the past 12 months, can you tell us how it all first began?
Atlas Fuel’s first branded store began in Kwinana Western Australia in 2021. Since then, we have grown from 1 store to 4 in 2022 and now have 15 across WA and QLD.
What have been the greatest challenges managing new sites in regional areas?
The greatest challenges are finding good staff, luckily for us we have a great team and are always working together to manage or find solutions if a challenge arises.
How has New Sunrise worked with you to help achieve your goals?
New Sunrise has worked with Atlas Fuel since our first store in Kwinana, which opened in 2021. They have been a great asset in assisting us throughout the growth and been with us at every store opening and step along the way!
What are your plans for the next 12 months for your store?
Over the next 12 months, we hope to expand further, bringing more stores and helping the community to save where it matters most in their weekly fuel costs.
