Prior to joining the New Sunrise Group as Training and Development Manager, Sylvia’s career spanned 27 years with the ExxonMobil Corporation.  The last 10 years working in the Fuels Marketing Division as Convenience Retailing Specialist, Sylvia provided marketing support to the national Retail Distributor, Franchise and Commission Agent network forming part of the Red Horse Club.
A high level convenience retailing expert, Sylvia specialises in customer relationships and in training and working hand in hand with independent operators to drive excellence in all facets of c-store operations including customer service, space management, promotional program execution and inventory control.
In 1999, Sylvia spent 18 months as Store Manager of the Quix Service Centre on the Western Ring Road South, Melbourne.  This placement was a management initiative for field staff to acquire in-store experience in all facets of retail site operations such as staff management, merchandising, planogram implementation, stock purchase and supplier relations.
